ABOUT ME

Over my decade-long career in journalism, I have covered everything from hyper-local news to media to politics to entertainment to beauty, and am well-sourced in a variety of industries.

My passion, however, is reporting on substance use, recovery, harm reduction, and the overdose crisis. I am serious about covering these topics humanely and responsibly, centering the perspectives of people who use drugs while bolstering my reporting with sourcing from the realms of medicine, academia, law, and more.

Home: About Me

My years of experience covering a diverse selection of interests and events perfectly situated me to take on this important work and it's an honor to tell these stories with the complexity and care they — and the people in the midst of them — deserve.

In addition to reporting on the overdose crisis for a variety of outlets, I am enrolled in New York University's School of Global Public Health, pursuing my Master of Public Health to enhance my work. My research, done through the Opioid Policy Institute's Reporting on Addiction nonprofit, focuses on media coverage of the ongoing crisis.
